Jurnal Alwatzikhoebillah : Kajian Islam, Pendidikan, Ekonomi, Humaniora was originally a printed journal that was published in February 2015. Then, obtaining e-ISSN began its Vol. 3, No. 1, Januari 2017. The issue was published, however, there was mistake in writing the Issue where it was written Vol. 3, No. 5 Januari-Juni 2017. Subsequent editions also experienced the wrong title writing. In 2018, only Vol 4. No. 1 Januar-Juni 2018 was published. As for 2019, there is no publication at all. In 2020, the publication was only one issue, namely Vol. 6 No. 2 Juli, 2020.

Since the publication of Vol. 6 No. 2 July 2020, there are template adjustments. Some of the adjustments referred to include: first, the page layout, which initially divides each page into two columns, is converted into one column according to the width of the paper. Second, the naming of volumes, originally written by stating the publication period from one month to another (eg Vol. 4 No.1 Januari – Juni 2018), is changed to only certain month (eg Vol. 6 No. 2 Juli 2020). Third, the mention of the author's name, which was originally written only on the first page of the article, was changed to the author's name written on each page of the article. Fourth, the use of font in writing, which originally used Times New Roman, was changed to Bookman Old Style. Fifth, the writing structure, initially the abstract was written in Indonesian only, was changed to English and Indonesian. In addition, each article is required to describe the research method used rather than previous issues.

Template changes from July 2023

There have been a lot of changes in the template starting with the Vol. 9 No. 2, July 2023. The changes include general appearance, font type and size, addition of manuscript history, and writing of citations and bibliography into the APA 7th Editon Style format.
