MODEL BIMBINGAN PERKAWINAN BERBASIS NILAI-NILAI ISLAM UNTUK MEWUJUDKAN KELUARGA SAKINAH
Abstract
This study is grounded in the increasing dynamics and conflicts within family life, which require a comprehensive, integrative, and Islamic-based guidance approach. This study aims to develop an Islamic values-based marriage guidance model to foster sakinah families. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) design with a mixed-methods approach. A total of 39 data sources were involved according to their respective functions and roles at each stage of the model development process. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires/scales, and documentation. Data analysis employed a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. The findings indicate that the developed Islamic values-based marriage guidance model consists of integrated components of objectives, materials, methods, and evaluation, incorporating the values of sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah. The model was found to be effective in improving communication quality, emotional management, and family resilience. Therefore, the model can serve as an alternative approach in marriage guidance services to foster harmonious and prosperous families.
