http://journal.iaisambas.ac.id/index.php/bicihe/article/view/5365

This study examines the protection of women's economic rights through marital property division in Indonesia and Malaysia, focusing on the concepts of harta bersama and harta sepencarian. Using a qualitative comparative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 18 women who had experienced divorce or property disputes in Lampung (Indonesia) and Selangor (Malaysia), supplemented by analysis of court decisions and legal documents. Thematic analysis revealed three main findings. First, women faced significant difficulties in proving asset ownership due teo lack of formal documentation of their non-financial contributions. Second, patriarchal norms created power imbalances during negotiations, forcing many women to accept unfair settlements. Third, judicial recognition of indirect domestic contributions remained inconsistent, although Malaysian courts showed relatively greater acknowledgment compared to Indonesian courts. The study concludes that despite normative legal protections, implementation gaps persist due to structural evidentiary barriers and cultural inequalities. Reforms should include more inclusive evidence rules, gender-sensitive judicial training, and enhanced legal literacy for women. This research contributes to comparative family law scholarship and offers practical recommendations for policymakers in both countries.
Habib IsmailHabib Shulton AsnawiEti KariniHaris SantosoAsrori HidayatMuhammad Azhad Al-Bohari

http://journal.iaisambas.ac.id/index.php/bicihe/article/view/5496

Green entrepreneurship has attracted growing scholarly attention as a strategic response to climate change, resource scarcity, and the global commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals. However, the literature remains conceptually fragmented and dispersed across multiple disciplines, with existing reviews rarely combining bibliometric rigor with systematic thematic synthesis. This study addresses that gap by mapping and synthesizing the intellectual landscape of research on green entrepreneurship and sustainability through an integrated bibliometric analysis and systematic literature review (SLR). Using the Scopus database, a structured search query returned 515 documents, which were screened through four successive PRISMA stages filtering by document type, subject area, keyword, and open-access status yielding a final corpus of 62 peer-reviewed articles. The bibliometric analysis was conducted using Scopus analytics and VOSviewer to examine publication trends, leading authors, subject area distribution, and international collaboration patterns, while the SLR employed qualitative thematic coding to synthesize how the literature conceptualizes the relationship between green entrepreneurship and sustainability. Findings show that publication output has grown substantially since 2022, peaking at 13 documents in 2024. The field is dominated by Business, Management, and Accounting literature, with China and the United Kingdom as the most productive countries. Keyword co-occurrence mapping revealed four thematic clusters centered on green entrepreneurship, sustainability and innovation, green entrepreneurial orientation, and green economy. The co-authorship network is sparse and fragmented, with Malaysia serving as a central bridging country, while Indonesia despite notable output contributes primarily through domestic collaboration. These findings confirm the field's multidisciplinary maturity while highlighting gaps in international collaboration and the need for more integrative conceptual frameworks..
Alfa SyahputraBurhan BunginThomas Stefanus KaihatuDavid Sukardi Kodrat

2026-06-302026-06-3021820Learning Culture Through Craft: Social Learning And Cultural Participation Through Miao Embroidery In Guizhou, China
http://journal.iaisambas.ac.id/index.php/bicihe/article/view/5497

This research is motivated by a gap in intangible cultural heritage studies, which still limit their ability to empirically explain how community-based social learning mechanisms maintain cultural participation beyond formal and event-based approaches. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of social learning, patterns of learning culture and cultural participation, as well as the dominant dimensions that shape community-based cultural practices in Miao embroidery. This study uses a quantitative, cross-sectional design with participants from the Miao embroidery community. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire that measured social learning, learning culture, and cultural participation. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, including means and standard deviations, to identify dominant patterns and dimensions. The results show that social learning is in the very high category, with practice participation as the most dominant learning mechanism. In contrast, cultural participation is primarily driven by attachment to cultural identity rather than participation in formal cultural events. These findings indicate that the sustainability of community-based culture is determined more by embodied learning processes and identity attachment than external or ceremonial approaches. Therefore, this study recommends that cultural preservation strategies focus on strengthening daily practices in communities, developing collective learning environments, and strengthening cultural identity to ensure the sustainability of traditional crafts.
Dengyun SHIYudhi Arifani

2026-06-302026-06-30212136The Impact Of Combined Counselling Support and Educational Counselling On Alleviating Academic Stress: The Role Of Demographic Factors
http://journal.iaisambas.ac.id/index.php/bicihe/article/view/5499

This study aims to explore the key factors influencing the alleviation of academic stress, focusing on three dimensions: demographic factors, counselling support and educational counselling and verifies the combined effect of the two intervention approaches. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, online questionnaires were distributed to vocational students in Chongqing, China, and 400 valid responses were collected. Statistical software was used to conduct reliability and validity testing, an Independent Samples t-test, a One-Way ANOVA, and a Multiple Regression Analysis on the collected data. The results show that among demographic factors, age, academic year and major category have a significant impact on academic stress alleviation, while gender has no obvious influence; counselling support (including cognitive restructuring, stress coping training and social support network) has a significant positive predictive effect on academic stress alleviation; educational counselling (including career guidance, learning strategy optimization and home-school collaboration) also has a significant positive impact on academic stress alleviation. In addition, the combined use of counselling support and educational counselling presents stronger explanatory power and better intervention effects than either approach used alone. This study breaks through the limitations of single-factor intervention research, enriches the theoretical framework for academic stress alleviation by integrating psychological and educational support perspectives, and provides practical guidance for colleges and universities in designing systematic, targeted stress-relief programs.
Fan YangClinton Chidiebere Anyanwu

http://journal.iaisambas.ac.id/index.php/bicihe/article/view/5501

This study examines the impact of demographic factors, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and customer trust on customers’ behavioral loyalty, with a refined focus on the dominant role of corporate policies and organizational culture. This study employs a quantitative research method and collects 409 valid questionnaires from independent mainland Chinese travelers who have stayed in 3-star or higher hotels in Bangkok. Descriptive statistics, independent samples t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis are used for data analysis. The results show that demographic factors (gender, age, education level, occupation and monthly household income) have no significant impact on Chinese travelers’ behavioral loyalty. In contrast, all dimensions of CSR (economic responsibility, legal responsibility, ethical responsibility, discretionary responsibility) and all dimensions of customer trust (behavioral commitment, attitudinal commitment, cognitive dissonance) have significant positive effects on behavioral loyalty. The legal responsibility has the strongest predictive power in the CSR dimension, and attitudinal commitment has the greatest influence in the trust dimension. The study enriches the critical content of Chinese travelers’ hotel loyalty in cross-cultural contexts and provides practical areas for Bangkok hotels to formulate customer retention strategies.
Jiacheng HuoSukon AduldaechaSurachai Traiwannakij

http://journal.iaisambas.ac.id/index.php/bicihe/article/view/5502

The purpose of this study is to explore the influencing factors of consumption intention towards cycling tourism among college and university students in Yulin City, China, based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). A quantitative research method was adopted, using a structured questionnaire. Data were collected from 400 undergraduate students in Yulin via stratified random sampling, employing a hybrid online-offline approach. The survey instruments measured behavioral attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control (the three core TPB constructs), and cycling tourism consumption intention using validated 5-point Likert scales. Demographic factors (gender, age and monthly income) were included as control variables. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics, independent-samples t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analyses using SPSS 26.0. The results revealed that two of the three TPB factors significantly affect consumption intention. Perceived behavioral control was the most significant predictor (β = 0.523, p < 0.001), followed by subjective norms (β = 0.363, p < 0.001). Contrary to theoretical expectations, behavioral attitude was not significantly related to consumption intention (β = -0.004, p = 0.941). Furthermore, no significant differences in consumption intention were found across gender, age, or income categories. This study bridges an empirical gap by applying the TPB to the niche context of cycling tourism among university students in a non-metropolitan Chinese city (Yulin). It challenges the universal predictive power of attitude in TPB within this specific setting and highlights the paramount importance of perceived feasibility and social influence. The findings offer novel insights for destination marketers and policymakers, suggesting a strategic shift from promoting generic benefits to reducing practical barriers and leveraging social networks. For local tourism enterprises and policymakers, the study recommends focusing on: 1) Enhancing perceived behavioral control through affordable rental packages, skill-training workshops, and improved infrastructure; 2) Leveraging subjective norms via social media campaigns and community events; 3) Shifting marketing messaging from "value advocacy" to "ease of access and social popularity"; 4) Adopting universal targeting strategies for the student population.
Junting PanShengxiang She

2026-06-302026-06-30216072The Impact Of Multiple Learning Strategies On Student Competencies In Patient-Centered Care In Medical Imaging Technology Programs In Yunnan's Vocational Colleges
http://journal.iaisambas.ac.id/index.php/bicihe/article/view/5503

In today's evolving healthcare landscape, the integration of humanistic education into vocational medical training has become increasingly essential, particularly in fields like medical imaging technology, where patient interaction is inevitable. Despite strong technical preparation, many students lack the interpersonal and ethical competencies required for delivering patient-centered care. This study aims to examine the impact of multiple learning strategies specifically, humanistic education, teaching methodology, student engagement, and faculty training on students' competency in patient-centered care within medical imaging technology programs at vocational colleges in Yunnan Province, China. A quantitative research design was employed, utilizing a structured questionnaire distributed to 385 students enrolled in medical imaging programs. The instrument measured five key constructs, and data were analyzed using multiple linear regression via Jamovi version 2.6.26. Descriptive statistics and inferential analyses were also conducted to examine relationships among variables. The results revealed a strong predictive model with an R² of 0.749 and adjusted R² of 0.746, indicating that the independent variables collectively explained nearly 75% of the variance in student competency. Among the predictors, faculty training (β = 0.489) and humanistic education (β = 0.410) had the most significant positive effects, followed by student engagement (β = 0.199). Surprisingly, teaching methodology showed a negative relationship (β = −0.191), suggesting that not all instructional methods effectively support humanistic outcomes. These findings underscore the importance of embedding humanistic values into technical curricula and investing in faculty development to promote patient-centered competencies. The study offers valuable insights for educators, administrators, and policymakers aiming to improve the quality of vocational healthcare education.
Min ZhaoSansanee Jasuwan

This study aimed to investigate the impact of Project-Based Learning (PBL) on students' creative ability and learning attitudes in a higher vocational video advertising design course. A quasi-experimental design was employed, involving 70 students from two intact classes at a vocational college in Yunnan Province, China. The experimental group (n=35) received PBL instruction, while the control group (n=35) received traditional teaching over a 20-week semester. Creative ability was measured using the Student Creative Ability Scale and the instructor-rated Project Evaluation Scale, while learning attitudes were assessed using the Students' Learning Attitudes Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent-samples t-tests. The findings revealed that students in the PBL group demonstrated significantly higher overall creative ability and more positive learning attitudes than those in the traditional instruction group. Significant differences were also observed across all four dimensions of creative ability: creative thinking, expressive ability, problem-solving ability, and project innovation. The results suggest that PBL is an effective pedagogical approach for fostering creativity and enhancing learning experiences in vocational design education.
Rui YangSansanee Jasuwan

2026-06-302026-06-3021107118Marketing Mix and Local Identity: An Analysis Of Purchase Decisions At Semari Bahari Coffee And Space, Sambas Regency
http://journal.iaisambas.ac.id/index.php/bicihe/article/view/5622

This study aims to analyze the effect of the marketing mix, encompassing price, product, place, promotion, and people, on consumer purchase decisions aligned with Sambas Malay local identity at Semari Bahari Coffee and Space, a coffee shop in Sambas District, Sambas Regency, which integrates elements of Sambas Malay culture into its marketing strategy. This study employed a quantitative method with a Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. Data were collected from 133 respondents through interviews, Likert-scale questionnaires, and documentation, using an accidental sampling technique, and were subsequently processed using Smart-PLS. The validity and reliability test results showed that all constructs met the required criteria, with average variance extracted (AVE) values above 0.5 and composite reliability and Cronbach's alpha values above 0.70. The hypothesis test results showed that price (t = 2.258; p = 0.024), place (t = 3.037; p = 0.002), promotion (t = 4.586; p = 0.000), and people (t = 5.095; p = 0.000) had a significant effect on purchase decisions, whereas product had no significant effect (t = 1.840; p = 0.066). These findings indicate that aligning affordable pricing, a location rich in cultural activities, promotion using the Sambas Malay language and themes, and employees who are native members of the Sambas community can strengthen consumer purchase decisions. Conversely, product naming using the Sambas Malay language was found to be less effective, as consumers tend to prioritize taste and ease of understanding the product. This study concludes that integrating local identity into most elements of the marketing mix can serve as an effective strategy for local coffee shop businesses to differentiate themselves from competitors while preserving Sambas Malay culture, although the strategy applied to the product element requires further evaluation.
Ariel MuqsithIwan Kusnadi
