The publication, which appears biannually, is overseen by the Sultan Muhammad Syafiuddin Sambas Postgraduate Institute for Islamic Religion in West Kalimantan. It encompasses studies and analyses conducted by multidisciplinary teams, evaluating or reporting the outcomes or implementation of scientific research or processes in general. The journal aims to attract interdisciplinary readers and writers who are engaged in real-world research. The primary objective of the Journal of Cross Border Islamic Studies is to disseminate scholarly works in the field of Islamic religious studies, including topics such as Islamic religious education, sharia economics, tafsir, culture, and social sciences. Published research can employ theoretical or speculative models, as well as statistical and mathematical approaches, to foster interdisciplinary thinking and provide a platform for scholars to exchange knowledge from diverse perspectives and locations. The CBJIS is available online with the <strong>ISSN 2686-4460</strong>, commencing with Volume 1, No. 2, in the July-December 2019 edition, published by the Center for Scientific Data and Documentation of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences.
