DAMPAK POSITIF PEMBANGUNAN POS LINTAS BATAS NEGARA (PLBN) ARUK TERHADAP EKONOMI DAN SOSIAL MASYARAKAT PERBATASAN PERSPEKTIF EKONOMI PEMBANGUNAN ISLAM

Abstract

   The construction of the Aruk Cross-Border Post (PLBN) in Sebunga Village, Sajingan Besar District, Sambas Regency, is a strategic government effort to strengthen development in border areas. The presence of the Aruk PLBN has shown various positive impacts, especially on the economic and social aspects of the community. This study aims to analyze the positive impact of the Aruk PLBN construction on the economy and social life of border communities from an Islamic development economics perspective. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation with PLBN managers, village officials, traders, and border communities. The results show that the construction of the Aruk PLBN has had positive impacts in the form of increased accessibility, local economic growth, increased business opportunities, additional public facilities, and increased social interaction. From an Islamic development economics perspective, the existence of the PLBN is in line with the principles of benefit, equality, and improving the quality of life of the community. Supporting factors include infrastructure quality, availability of commercial facilities, government support, technology and information, and community involvement. Inhibiting factors include poor communication quality, suboptimal bureaucracy, and the emergence of illegal trade
