AUTHOR GUIDELINES

The International Journal of Islamic Education (IJGIE) is published twice a year since 2020, a peer-reviewed journal, and specializes in Islamic Education. The aim is to give the reader a better understanding of the world. This development is through the publication of articles, research reports, and book reviews. Manuscripts sent to editors published by IJGIE will be considered if they meet the following criteria:
1. Scientific Characteristics, review of educational problems, management of Islamic education, religion and culture in Islamic education, original ideas, summaries of research / survey results, and book reviews that are considered to be able to contribute to society and science;
2. Submitted manuscripts are manuscripts that have never been published in any publication or no publication has been requested or considered by other media by attaching the Author's Statement.
3. Manuscripts must be written in American English (US English), no more than 5,000 words (or a maximum length of 5,000 words), including text, all tables, and figures, notes, references and attachments intended for publication. All submissions must include abstracts and keywords using the IJGIE template, using a Californian FB font of size 12 and with a space of 1.5. Quotations, parts and words in local or foreign languages ​​must be translated into English;
4. Each text is written sequentially, consisting of the title, author's name, abstract, keywords, content (Introduction, Methods, Research Findings, Discussion, Conclusions, and Bibliography;
5. The title must be short and to the point, allowed to include subtitles with a maximum total of 14 syllables;
6. Make the author's name, institutional affiliation, and email address under the title of the article, and the author does not need to include an academic degree;
7. Abstract: A brief and factual abstract is required (maximum length of 200 words). The abstract should briefly state the research objectives, main results, and main conclusions. Abstracts are often presented separately from articles, so they must be able to stand alone. References must, therefore, be avoided, but if important, they must be quoted in full, without references to the reference list. Non-standard or unusual abbreviations must be avoided, but if necessary, abbreviations must be defined in the first mention in the abstract itself;
8. Keywords: Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of five keywords, avoid general and plural terms and some concepts (avoid, for example, 'and', 'from'). Save with abbreviations: only abbreviations that are firmly established in fields that qualify. This keyword will be used for indexing purposes;
9. IJGIE only accepts electronic delivery (online). Therefore, writers must enter before submitting their articles. Please click here to enter;
10. Quotations usually only require the author's last name, year of publication, and (sometimes) page numbers. All works cited must appear in the reference list at the end of the article and be arranged alphabetically. All notes must appear in the text as quotes (innote). Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also in the reference list (and vice versa). Quotations in the text must follow the reference style used by the American Psychological Association, 6th Edition;
11. If there is information and explanation relating to further clarification of the contents of the citation of the manuscript using footnotes;
12. It is recommended to use the reference manager in citation and bibliographic arrangements, such as Mendeley or Zotero;
