About the Journal

Archipelago Journal of Southeast Asia Islamic Studies (AJSAIS) is a biannually International Journal published in January and July by Institut Agama Islam Sultan Muhammad Syafiuddin Sambas. The journal puts emphasis on aspects related to islamic studies in a Southeast Asia context such as: Islamic Education in Southeast Asia, Islamic Economics and Halal Industry in Southeast Asia, Islamic Politics and Governance in Southeast Asia, Islamic Law and Jurisprudence in Southeast Asia, Islamic Da'wah and Leadership in Southeast Asia, Islamic Philosophy and Thought in Southeast Asia, Islamic Ethics and Mysticism in Southeast Asia, Islamic History and Civilizations in Southeast Asia, Islamic Society and Religious Studies in Southeast Asia, Qur'an and Sunnah Studies in Southeast Asia, Democracy and Human Right Studies on Islamic Perspective in Southeast Asia. It cordially invites contributions from scholars of related disciplines. The languages used in this journal is English.
