There have also been many activities (training, workshops and Training of Trainers) carried out by the government in an effort to instill the values of religious moderation in society. However, so far not much has been done of training and building of pioneers or cadres of religious moderation at the Senior High School (SMA) level. It is crucial in order to form a young generation with an understanding of religious moderation. Therefore, this topic is very important and determines how this religious moderation will be sustainable and cover all levels of society. This community service uses a training method that includes preparation, implementation and evaluation stages, in accordance with the Asset Based Communities Development (ABCD) approach. The results of this service can be concluded as follows: 1) the delivery of concepts and examples of the practice of Religious Moderation to high school students in Kapuas Hulu Regency (5 students representing each of 8 schools with a total of 40 people student); 2) the formation of a pioneer organization for religious moderation at the high school level in Kapuas Hulu Regency; 3) establishing coordination and cooperation between the pioneer organization for high school level religious moderation in Kapuas Hulu Regency with the Religious Communication Forum (FKUB) and the Ministry of Religion of Kapuas Hulu Regency. Law No. 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure (UU KIP) serves as a legal instrument that guarantees the public's right to know and encourages government officials to be more transparent in managing information. However, in practice, there is still a gap between policy and implementation, particularly in terms of synergy between officials and the community at the local level. Low levels of public information literacy and limited public participation pose challenges in achieving these goals. This community service program aims to build strong synergy between village government officials and the community in implementing the UU KIP through participatory-based education, mentoring, and training. This program also aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 16, which aims to promote a peaceful, inclusive society and access to justice through effective and transparent institutions. The results of the activity indicate an increase in village officials' understanding of the principles, types, and mechanisms of public information services in accordance with the UU KIP. In addition, this activity resulted in the development of a standard operating procedure (SOP) for village public information services as an administrative guideline, as well as increased public awareness and participation in accessing and monitoring public information. Implemented transparency practices, such as the management of the Merah Putih Cooperative in Sebunga Village, serve as concrete examples of the implementation of public information disclosure at the village level. It is hoped that this program can serve as a pilot model for optimizing the implementation of the Public Information Disclosure Law while supporting the achievement of SDGs 16 at the grassroots level.
Yudith Evametha Vitranilla Weny Ramadhania Muhammad Fadhly Akbar Sandy Kurnia Christmas Piramitha Angelina Copyright (c) 2026 Yudith Evametha Vitranilla, Weny Ramadhania, Muhammad Fadhly Akbar, Sandy Kurnia Christmas, Piramitha Angelina https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-07-31 2026-07-31 6 2 178 189 10.37567/pkm.v6i2.5232 Penguatan Pengelolaan Sampah Rumah Tangga melalui Demonstrasi Lubang Resapan Biopori dan Penyediaan Fasilitas Tempat Sampah di Desa Jagalano https://journal.iaisambas.ac.id/index.php/pkm/article/view/5507
Inadequate household waste management remains an environmental health issue in Jagalano Village, Rantau Panjang District, Ogan Ilir Regency.
