Hubungan Dukungan Teman Sebaya Dengan Percaya Diri Siswa Di Lingkungan Sekolah SMK Negeri 1 Driyorejo
Abstract
Penelitian ini menginvestigasi secara empiris signifikansi korelatif antara konstruksi Dukungan Teman Sebaya (DTS) dan Percaya Diri Siswa (PDS) sebagai faktor psikososial krusial dalam dinamika pendidikan. Permasalahan utama yang diangkat adalah sejauh mana DTS berkontribusi pada pembentukan PDS dalam konteks sekolah menengah. Mengadopsi desain kuantitatif korelasional (eksploratif), sampel berjumlah 72 siswa diakumulasikan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Validitas instrumen (DTS: 14 item, PDS: 17 item) divalidasi dengan korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan terbukti memiliki reliabilitas internal yang kuat (DTS: alpha=0,721; PDS: alpha=0,732). Analisis statistik inferensial (uji korelasi Pearson) menunjukkan bahwa Dukungan Teman Sebaya berkorelasi positif dan signifikan secara statistik dengan Percaya Diri Siswa (r = 0,593; p = 0,000). Koefisien determinasi (R^2 = 0,351) mengindikasikan bahwa DTS secara unik menjelaskan 35,1% variabilitas PDS. Temuan ini menegaskan kembali peran sentral peer environment sebagai moderator penting dalam pengembangan atribut psikologis siswa. Implikasi penelitian secara praktis mendorong intervensi berbasis sekolah untuk memfasilitasi struktur dukungan sebaya yang positif guna mengoptimalkan kesehatan mental dan kinerja akademik siswa.
