About the Journal

Community service is an expression of commitment, social responsibility, and dedication to the nation and humanity. Although community service programs are often implemented at the local level, they play an important role in improving community welfare, strengthening social capacity, empowering individuals and organizations, and enhancing the dignity of people from all walks of life, including professionals, community organizations, youth, children, and other social groups. Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, published by Universitas Sultan Muhammad Syafiuddin Sambas, serves as an academic platform for disseminating the outcomes of community service initiatives conducted by academics, researchers, professionals, and practitioners. The journal encourages the publication of original scholarly works that present innovative ideas, practical solutions, and inspiring experiences aimed at addressing community needs and promoting sustainable development. The journal accepts original and unpublished manuscripts reporting community service activities and community empowerment initiatives. All submissions must demonstrate originality, academic integrity, and relevance to community development. Manuscripts must not contain plagiarism or be under consideration for publication in other journals. The journal focuses on community service and empowerment in a broad range of fields, including education, religion, law, economics, culture, humanities, social sciences, and other relevant social issues. It welcomes interdisciplinary contributions that demonstrate meaningful community engagement, practical implementation, measurable or well-documented outcomes, and potential benefits for society. Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat is published three times a year, with issues released in January, May, and September. Manuscripts may be submitted in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
