Archiving Policy
1. Digital Archiving and Preservation
Articles published in PKM: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat are available through the Archives menu on the journal website and are organized by volume, issue, and year of publication. This archive provides readers with access to all available issues and published articles concerning community service, community engagement, and community development.
PKM: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat does not currently use a third-party long-term digital preservation service. Accordingly, articles stored on the journal website are not yet supported by an independent preservation mechanism to ensure continued access if the journal website or publisher ceases operation. Information on preservation services and the scope of archived content will be updated once a service has been activated and successful archiving has been verified.
2. Author Self-Archiving
PKM: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat permits authors to deposit the published version of their articles (Version of Record) in institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories, or their personal websites without an embargo period. The permitted version is the final published article file available on the journal website.
Authors must retain the article's content, publication details, and licensing information in the deposited file and provide a complete citation and an active DOI link to the official version on the journal website. If a DOI has not been assigned, authors should provide the official article URL and complete bibliographic information. Self-archiving and subsequent reuse must comply with the license specified in the published article.
If the journal publishes a correction, update, Expression of Concern, or retraction notice, authors are expected to update the information accompanying the deposited article and include a link to the official notice. This helps ensure that readers are informed of changes affecting the article's accuracy, reliability, or publication status.
Self-archiving supports the dissemination and accessibility of knowledge generated through community service activities and contributes to the wider sharing of practical experiences, innovative approaches, and findings relevant to community development. It complements the journal's digital archiving and preservation efforts.
