About the Journal
Borneo: Journal of Islamic Studies is an academic journal published by Universitas Sultan Muhammad Syafiuddin Sambas. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for academics, researchers, and other scholars to disseminate original research findings and scholarly contributions related to Islamic studies and associated fields. The journal publishes articles biannually, covering two publication periods: January–June and July–December. Its scope encompasses Islamic education, Islamic law, Islamic economics, Islamic philosophy, Islamic theology, the sociology of religion, Islamic history, and Islamic civilization, as well as other relevant issues within the field of Islamic studies. The editorial team invites researchers and academics to submit original manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in Islamic studies. All submitted manuscripts must comply with the journal’s author guidelines and undergo an editorial assessment and peer-review process to ensure their academic quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
