The Editor-in-Chief for the 2021–2025 period was Dr. Risa, M.Hum. Since September 2025, the position of Editor-in-Chief has been held by Dr. Reza Akbar, S.Si., M.H.

Article Template

Since Volume 6, Number 1 (2025), there has been a change in the article template, including the page layout, the inclusion of the author’s country of origin, DOI, and manuscript history.

SINTA Accreditation validity period

Borneo : Journal of Islamic Studies is accredited SINTA 4 from Vol. 2 No. 1 (2021) till Vol. 6 No. 2 (2025) as stated in Keputusan Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi Kemendikbudristek RI No.117/E/KPT/2024. However, in the publication record of Borneo: Journal of Islamic Studies, there is no Volume 6, Number 2 (2025); instead, it continues with Volume 6, Number 2 (2026).
