1. Digital Archiving and Preservation

Articles published in Jurnal Edukatif Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan Institut Agama Islam Sultan Muhammad Syafiuddin Sambas, are made available through the Archives menu on the journal's official website and are organized by volume, issue, and year of publication. This archive enables readers, researchers, educators, and other interested parties to access the journal's published issues.

The journal is committed to maintaining the accessibility, integrity, and long-term availability of its published scholarly content. Digital preservation is an important component of this commitment because it helps ensure that published research remains accessible for future reference, citation, and scholarly use.

If Jurnal Edukatif has not yet implemented an independent long-term digital preservation service, the journal will transparently communicate this status. Articles hosted on the journal website may not yet be protected by an independent preservation mechanism capable of ensuring continued access if the website or publisher ceases operation.

The journal will seek to establish or participate in appropriate digital preservation arrangements, such as the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, or another suitable preservation service, subject to technical compatibility, eligibility, and successful activation.

Information about preservation services, participation status, and the scope of archived content will be updated once the relevant service has been implemented and successful archiving has been verified.

2. Author Self-Archiving

Jurnal Edukatif permits authors to deposit the published version of their articles (Version of Record) in institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories, or their personal websites without an embargo period, subject to the licensing terms specified in the published article.

The permitted version is the final published article file available on the official Jurnal Edukatif website. Authors must retain the article's original content, publication details, copyright and licensing information, and other relevant bibliographic information when depositing the file.

Authors are required to provide a complete citation to the original publication and, where available, an active DOI link or a persistent URL linking to the official version on the journal website.

Self-archiving and subsequent reuse must comply with the Creative Commons license or other licensing terms stated in the published article. Authors should review the applicable license before distributing, adapting, or otherwise reusing the article.

If the journal publishes a correction, an Expression of Concern, an update, or a retraction notice concerning an article, authors are expected to update the information accompanying the deposited version and provide a link to the relevant official notice.

Author self-archiving supports the dissemination, discoverability, and accessibility of scholarly publications. It complements the journal's digital archiving efforts but does not replace the need for an independent long-term digital preservation mechanism.

3. Commitment to Digital Preservation and Accessibility

Jurnal Edukatif is committed to improving the long-term preservation and accessibility of its scholarly publications in accordance with responsible publishing practices.

The journal will periodically review its archiving arrangements, self-archiving provisions, and preservation procedures to ensure that they remain consistent with the journal's publishing policies and the licensing terms applicable to its articles.

Any significant changes to the journal's digital preservation arrangements or self-archiving policy will be communicated through the official journal website.
