Archiving Policy
Digital Archiving and Preservation
Articles published in SAJGIBE are continuously accessible through the Archives section on the official journal website, organized systematically by volume, issue, and publication year. This digital repository offers open access to all published content for academics, researchers, and industry practitioners.
SAJGIBE utilizes the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to maintain the long-term accessibility of its publication record. Details regarding third-party digital preservation networks (such as PKP Preservation Network, LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, or national digital archives) are updated on the archiving policy page as system integrations are finalized.
Author Self-Archiving Policy
SAJGIBE allows and encourages authors to deposit the final published PDF (Version of Record) in institutional repositories, subject-specific databases, academic networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu), or personal websites with zero embargo period.
To preserve attribution accuracy and publication integrity, self-archiving must fulfill the following requirements:
-
Permitted Version: Authors must deposit only the final publisher-formatted PDF (Version of Record) as published by SAJGIBE.
-
Citation & DOI: Deposited copies must retain original branding, bibliographic details, copyright statements, and Creative Commons license tags. Authors are required to include the complete formal citation alongside an active DOI link resolving to the article’s original page on the journal portal.
-
Post-Publication Status Updates: Should SAJGIBE issue an official Correction, Expression of Concern, or Retraction Notice, authors must update the metadata or documentation attached to their self-archived file to reflect the revised status, including a link to the official notice.
Author self-archiving expands research visibility, citation impact, and accessibility while supporting the journal's broader digital preservation efforts.
